Sarah Turtletaub
Camp Director
Sarah has spent her whole life as part of the Jewish Youth Movement. She was a camper as a kid, a Jr. Counselor and Lead Counselor as a teen, and has been a Camp Coordinator and Director almost every summer as an adult. Sarah completed her BA in Liberal Studies and acquired her Multi-Subject Teaching Credential in 2010. For the past eight years she has been teaching elementary school and running her own youth programs in Sacramento, Israel and London. When Sarah is not at camp, you can find her practicing yoga, swimming and playing guitar. Sarah is excited to be part of the Keff Team and is looking forward to joining the PJCC family!
Carly Silverman
Assistant Camp Director
Carly is excited to be the Assistant Camp Director of Camp Keff! She recently earned a master’s in environmental studies at San Jose State University. She has also worked for various nonprofits in the Bay Area- primarily in the fields of education and outdoor recreation. Having spent most of her childhood summers at Jewish overnight camp, Carly is thrilled to join the Camp Keff team. Outside of work you can find her rock climbing and cooking with her friends.
Anthony Barnhill
Youth and Family Program Assistant
Anthony grew up in rural Pennsylvania where his love of community service grew through Lion’s International which he served in for 8 years. Anthony continued to pursue his joy for community service by working as a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician, while earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Public History from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in 2012. After college Anthony continued to serve the public through a variety of customer care settings and moved to California in 2013. He is looking forward to working with the children and families that attend Camp Keff and ensuring that they love their experiences at the PJCC.

Rachel Fenyves
Preschool Director
Rachel is happy to be a part of the PJCC family. She has been working in Jewish Early Childhood Education for 12 years of her 16 years in the early childhood field. Rachel has a passion for community building starting with our youngest community members and their families. She feels at home here as a lifelong learner and looks forward to growing alongside the children.

Kristina Garland
Preschool Camp and Family Programs Manager
Kristina is thrilled to be a part of the PJCC Preschool team. She is passionate about early childhood education and community programming. She has spent the last 12 years working with early learners. She has directed preschools, before and after school programs and seasonal youth day camps in San Diego and the San Francisco Bay Area. She is excited to be overseeing the Preschool Camp, Preschool Enrichments and Baby & Me Programs and to help create enriching educational experiences for our youngest community members and their families.

Char Dubinsky
Preschool Office and Enrollment Manager
Char is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. After attending New York University and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she started work at the hardest job there is: stay-at-home mom. Upon enrolling her son in the PJCC Preschool, Char found such a warm, welcoming community, she embraced the opportunity to work at the PJCC. Char is proud to be both a Camp Keff employee and parent and she believes that all children need to learn through play so they can develop into their best selves.

Renee Keller
Preschool Office Administrator
Renee was born and raised in the Bay Area and started working with young children in high school, coaching at local summer basketball camps. Renee earned her Associates Degree from the College of San Mateo then transferred to the California State University of Hayward to study Kinesiology. She loves to see the wonder and joy in children as they learn new things about the world around them, and enjoys working families to ensure everyone’s camp experience is memorable.

Sue Exley
Preschool Office Administrator
Sue grew up in the northwest of England. She studied Modern History and Politics at Durham University. Afterwards she worked in London for several years before moving to California in 1993. Since then Sue has enjoyed volunteering at several nonprofit organizations including SFMOMA and she has loved being involved at her children’s schools, from preschool through high school. Her children have happy memories of attending Camp Keff and she was excited to join the PJCC in July 2017 when she joined the Preschool & Camp Keff administrative team. Outside of work Sue enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
