Get ready to geek out (in the coolest way possible). Get to know Arduino, a flexible, open-source software platform, and build an interactive Bluetooth-controlled robot that’s at your command. Program your new buddy to do tricks, carry objects, and run races. By the end of the session, you’ll compete with your peers in a mind-bending challenge to see whose robot makes it through a crazy maze the fastest!

Get your adrenaline pumping! Your adventure begins with a thrilling ropes challenge course, high up in the trees. Up next, you’ll camp next to the American River for one night and spend the next day charging the rapids for a day of whitewater rafting. Then, you’ll spend two nights in South Lake Tahoe, where you’ll hike in the mountains, snorkel and kayak to secluded coves in the lake and more! Extreme Excursion is not for the faint of heart…are you up for it?

After this two-week adventure camp, you’ll know the Bay Area like the back of your hand! During week one, you’ll experience a new and exciting destination each day: catch the Oakland A’s as they take on the Seattle Mariners, ride the roller coasters at Bay Area amusement parks, sail under the Golden Gate Bridge, and more! The second week allows you to conquer thrilling outdoor adventures: go on a two-night camping trip in the Santa Cruz Mountains, learn to surf in the Pacific Ocean, and roast marshmallows around a campfire with your friends. It’s an epic experience you and your friends won’t want to miss.

Engage your spirit of innovation, inspiration, and imagination in this immersive, hands-on camp. Guided by the expert makers at TheShop, you’ll experience working in a fully tricked-out maker space that includes a woodshop, metal shop, 3D printers, screen printing tools, and more! Every day, you’ll create an amazing new project—and at the end of the week, you’ll work with your fellow makers-in-training to craft a larger final product that shows off your collective creativity, talents, and skills.

Work alongside other dedicated, inspiring teens while you learn the kinds of leadership skills college application boards love to see: group facilitation, team building, youth development, and more. Of course, you’ll have tons of your own fun along the way.
